Delivering Food, Shelter, and Hope to the Poorest of the Poor.

World Food Day

World Food Day is a worldwide annual event designated to increase awareness and alleviate hunger. On October 16th, join Catholic schools, groups and universities around the US to stand in solidarity, pray together and raise funds to ship lifesaving food to malnourished children and families worldwide.

"When I was hungry, you gave me food..." —Matthew 25:35

Each day, millions of children across the globe go without enough to eat. On average, one child dies every 10 seconds from a malnutrition-related cause! As faithful Catholics, we are called to show compassion and mercy to those in need. Jesus said “Whatever you did for the least of these you did for me.”

many hands

World Food Day is an inspiring opportunity for Young Catholics to become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by helping feed poor families in desperate need. Cross Catholic provides all tools necessary, including bracelets, posters, and flameless candles.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for (this project) incurred through June 30, 2019, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
